Disney is gearing up for awards season by serving as host for a For Your Consideration Fest for some of the cast and crew of the series Star Wars: Ahsoka.
The event, which was held at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, featured a couple of the leading ladies for the Disney + series, Rosario Dawson and co-star Natasha Liu Bordizzo.
The series, which is a spin-off from The Mandalorian (2019-present), takes place in the same timeframe as that series and its other interconnected spin-offs following the events of one of the original three films, Return of the Jedi (1983).
For the promotional event, Dawson was the picture of style and elegance in a black pleated skirt that fell down around her ankles and a matching turtleneck top, which hugged her amazingly fit figure.
The actress would also keep the black theme going by wearing a pair of heeled boots, while accessorizing with double-hoop earrings.

After posing solo the Sin City star joined Bordizzo and the pair proceeded to snuggle up together for a round pf photos on the red carpet.
At one point, the Sydney, New South Wales, Australia native leaned on Dawson's right shoulder while posing at a side angle, giving viewers a look at her off-white ensemble with openings on the sides of both hips.
The dress also had a long slit on the left that allowed for her to flaunt her legs at a moments native, which she aptly took advantage of during the red carpet portion of the promotional event.
She also got a lift by wearing a pair of white open-toe heels, all while styling her long dark tresses up into a bun, with the exception of her bangs and hair she left dangling around the frame of her face.
Initially, Dawson was cast as Ahsoka Tano to appear in the second season of The Mandalorian, which served as a set-up for the new series.
Written as a continuation of the animated series Star Wars Rebels, Ahsoka follows former Jedi apprentice of Anakin Skywalker and her allies as they fight the remnants of the Galactic Empire during the time of the fledgling New Republic.
Along with Dawson and Bordizzo, the cast also features Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, David Tennant, Eman Esfandi, Evan Whitten, Genevieve O'Reilly, Hayden Christensen, Ariana Greenblatt, Lars Mikkelsen and Anthony Daniels.
Christensen was also on hand for the FYC event along with show creator-executive producer Dave Filoni, who also plays the role of Chopper, Hera's astromech droid, plus film designer and artist Doug Chiang and film and television composer Kevin Kiner.
